نسخہ بھی آزما [HELP OF GOD] اے آزمانے والے جو خاک میں ملے اُسے ملتا ہے آشنا He who mingles with the dust finds that Intimate Friend. O you who experiment! Test this prescription as well. عاشق جو ہیں وہ یار کو مر مر کے پاتے ہیں جب مر گئے تو اُسکی طرف کھینچے جاتے ہیں [True] lovers are those who find the Beloved after suffering death upon death; When dead [to their selves], they are drawn towards Him. دلبر کی مرنے والوں پہ ہر دم نگاہ ہے یہ راہ تنگ ہے پہ یہی ایک راہ ہے This is a narrow path, but it is the only path; The Beloved watches every moment over those who die [for Him]. دیوار زہد خشک کی آخر کو پھٹ گئی ناپاک زندگی ہے جو دوری میں کٹ گئی Impure is the life that is spent in separation [from Him]; The wall of dry piety eventually crumbles. مقبول بن کے اُس کے عزیز و حبیب ہیں زندہ وہی ہیں جو کہ خدا کے قریب ہیں They alone are alive who are close to God; Being accepted by Him, they are His dear and beloved ones. ہر دم اسیر نخوت و کبر و غرور ہیں وہ دور ہیں خدا سے جو تقویٰ سے دُور ہیں Far from God are those who are far from taqwā [righteousness]; Every moment they are in the clutches of vanity, pride, and arrogance. کبر و غرور و بخل کی عادت کو چھوڑ دو تقویٰ یہی ہے یارو کہ نخوت کو چھوڑ دو Taqwa O friends!—is indeed this, that you renounce vanity; Shun the habit of pride, arrogance, and avarice. اُس یار کے لئے رہ عشرت کو چھوڑ دو اس بے ثبات گھر کی محبت کو چھوڑ دو Shun the love of this transient abode; Abandon the path of luxury for the sake of that Beloved. 25
