134 BARĀHIN-E-AHMADIYYA PART FOUR گمانها بلاک خود بینی گر دہندت بصیرت دینی در Were you to attain spiritual insight, You would find your destruction in conjectures. بنگر آخر بعقل و فکر و قیاس که خود را نه محکم است اساس See through reason, reflection, and logic, [And you will discover that] the foundation of reason is not solid. تا نباشد رفیق او دگرے نایدش از ره یقیں خبرے Until it is joined by a companion, It will not know the way towards certainty. تا نه بینی بدید یا جائے یا نه یابی خبر ز بینائی Until you see a place with your own eyes, Or you get its description from the one who knows, خود نگوید ترا خرد زنهار که چنین دارد آن مکال آثار Reason on its own would not inform you that, A certain house has such and such features. پس چه ممکن که دم زند بمعاد کہ چنین اند آن دیار و بلاد Then how can it be said about the Hereafter, 'That place and realm is such and such'? ایں چہ حمق ست و ایں چہ بے راہی کہ بہل است لاف آگاہی What stupidity it is! What misguidance! You boast of being intelligent while you are, in fact, ignorant. چون روی از قیاس خود بر ہے که ندیدی بعمر خویش گہے How can you tread, by following your conjectures, A path that you have never seen in your life?
