BARĀHIN-E-AHMADIYYA PART FOUR 98 same ignorant fool or to some prophet or saint of his. After all, if the light of the sun were deemed to be darkness, then what would be left for us to call light? اے سر خود کشیده از فرقان پا نهاده به لجبة طغیاں O you who have turned away from the Furqan [Holy Quran] And have stumbled into the bottomless pit of rebellion! بانگ کم کن به پیش نور بدای تو به کن از فسوس و این چه بازیها Do not overly boast as you stand before the Light of Guidance! Repent of ridiculing and mocking. چشمه ست کور و سخت کبود کا فتابے درو چو ذره نمود How blind is the eye, how ill-fated it is, To which the Sun appears as a tiny particle! تانگیری کنارہ ہیں و ره خو ہست دور از کنار کشتی تو Unless you renounce this way and habit of yours, The boat in which you sail shall remain stranded far from shore. با خدایت عناد و کیں تا چند خنده و بازیت بدین تا چند How long will you harbour enmity and malice toward your God? How long will you mock and ridicule the Faith? خویشتن را مگش به ترک حیا جائے گریہ مشو باستهزا Do not decimate yourself by abandoning modesty; While mocking others, do not become so pitiable that others weep for you. مهر تاباں چو بر فلک رخشید چوں توانی بخاک و خس پوشید When the bright sun shines high in the sky, How can you conceal it under dust and straw?
