And then, apart from this, we see that the parables and the moral teachings of the Gospels are positively to be found in Buddhist books compiled in the time of Jesus, the Messiah. These two points, when considered together, leave no doubt whatsoever that definitely Jesus, the Messiah, came to this country. Thus, the evidence which we wanted to find in the books of the Buddhist faith has, thanks be to God, been discovered in full. And though I have written on this a little already, I feel it necessary to include a full discussion of this ques- tion here. Let it be clearly known, therefore, that it was extremely nec- essary, by reason of his office as divine messenger, for Jesus, the Messiah, may peace be on him, to have journeyed to the Punjab and its neighbourhood.
