40 NUŞRATUL-HAQQ – HELP OF GOD لکھتے ہیں اب خدا کی عنایت سے بے ہر اس تاہم وہ دوسرے بھی نشاں ہیں ہمارے پاس Nevertheless, there are other Signs we possess, Which we now set forth fearlessly with God's favour. وہ خود نشاں ہے نیز نشاں سارے اس کے کام جس دل میں رچ گیا ہے محبت سے اُس کا نام The heart in which His name is saturated with love Is itself a Sign; moreover, all its works are Signs. مردوں سے نیز فرقہ ناداں زنانہ سے کیا کیا نہ ہم نے نام رکھائے زمانہ سے What insults have I not endured from this generation— From men as well as from the uninformed womenfolk? اُن کی نظر میں کافر و دجال ہو گئے اُس کے گمان میں ہم بدو بدحال ہو گئے In their estimation, I have become evil and wretched, In their eyes I have become a kāfır [disbeliever] and a dajjal [deceiver]. بے دیں ہوئے فساد کیا حق کی راہ میں ہم مفتری بھی بن گئے اُن کی نگاہ میں I even became an impostor in their sight; Became faithless, corrupting the path of truth! پر ایسے کفر پر تو فدا ہے ہماری جاں جس سے ملے خدائے جہان و جہانیاں But may my life be sacrificed for such 'kufr' [disbelief], From which is attained God-Creator of the world and mankind. سو شکر ہے کہ ہو گئے غالب کے یار ہم لعنت ہے ایسے دیں پہ کہ اس کفر سے ہے کم Accursed be such a faith that is less than this 'kufr'- A hundred thanks that I have become the beloved of the Supreme [God].
