138 BARĀHIN-E-AHMADIYYA PART THREE کیسے کو بتابد سر از عدل و داد کجا دم زند پیش صدق و سداد How can he who violates equity and justice, Dare to face the truth and rectitude. روئے ناشر مسارش سیاه کلام خدا هر دم از عرب و جاه کند The Word of God, with all its glory and majesty, Always brings the face of the shameless to disgrace. جہاں رائے شخصی بگردو بلند که طغیان نفسش بگردن فگند Of what value is the opinion of a man, Who has been vanquished by his own selfish desires. دل پاک و جولان فکر و نظر رو جوهر بود لازم یک دگر Purity of heart and sharpness of insight, Are two valuable traits that always work together. دل آمیختند مداد از سواد عیوں ریختند در When we pour the elements of purity into our hearts, We mingle it with the ink that flows from the eyes. چو صوف صفا خدا آفریدت زیک مشتِ خاک خودت داد نان تا نگردی ہلاک God created you out of a handful of dust, And provided you with bread lest you perish. بہر حاجتت گشت حاجت روا کشور از ترحم دو دست عطا He Himself provided for your every need, And mercifully opened wide the hands of His generosity. چه پاداش مجودش چنیں میدہی کہ ور علم خود را نظیرش نی And do you 'repay' His favour, By claiming to be equal to Him, in your own estimation?
